Udobong of Rhodes and Owens of Centre named SAA Women's Track and Field Athletes fo the Week

ATLANTA (March 11, 2020) - The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Faith Udobong of Rhodes and Meghan Owens of Centre have been named the SAA Women's Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Women's Track

Faith Udobong - Rhodes

Udobong finished with a time of 56.66 seconds to open her season against Mississippi College in the 400 meters.

Women's Field

Meghan Owens - Centre

Owens began her collegiate javelin debut in fine fashion at the Victor Ice Breaker Duals hosted by Berry. She won the women's javelin throw by more than 13 meters with a new school record mark of 43.32 meters (142'1"). Her throw currently ranks her first among in all of NCAA Division III athletes.
